Chief Medical Officer (CMO) – Global CRO

About the role

Allucent™ is seeking an experienced Chief Medical Officer to lead its Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance functions. This senior position reports directly to the COO and is part of the senior leadership team, shaping strategy for a full‑service global CRO.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the business strategy for Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance.
• Set annual revenue, profit, and operational targets and monitor performance.
• Oversee safety systems, ensure accurate reporting of safety issues, and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Lead senior management meetings and foster a strong organizational culture.
• Represent the organization externally and manage key client relationships.
• Supervise direct reports and contribute to staff development.

Required profile

• MD degree with a valid medical license.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 10 years in drug development or clinical research.
• At least 4 years in a senior management role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, growing environment.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of GxP standards.
• Familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, CFR, CTR and CTD regulations.
• Expertise in regulatory compliance for medical affairs and pharmacovigilance.
