Collection Manager – Receivables Team Lead

About the role

As a Collection Manager at Kuehne+Nagel, you will lead the receivables function, ensuring timely debt recovery, healthy cash flow and minimal financial risk while fostering an inclusive team culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective collection strategies, set departmental KPIs and analyse metrics to improve cash collections.
• Recruit, train and lead a team of Receivables Specialists, conduct performance reviews and promote a collaborative, accountable environment.
• Monitor accounts‑receivable aging, oversee the use of collections software (Highradius) and dispute management tools to maximise performance.
• Communicate with customers to resolve billing issues, negotiate payment plans and handle escalated disputes professionally.
• Ensure compliance with global accounting, finance and trade‑receivable policies, conduct audits and prepare detailed collection performance reports for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a collections department, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken).
• Organised, detail‑oriented, hands‑on and a strong team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency with collections software such as Highradius.
• Experience using dispute management tools.
