About the role
The Courier is responsible for collecting outbound shipments and delivering inbound shipments while adhering to DHL operational standards, service levels and customer expectations. The role ensures timely, safe and compliant handling of parcels across the network.
Key responsibilities
- Perform timely collection and delivery of shipments, maintaining high customer service standards.
- Inspect outbound shipments for compliance with DHL, customs, security and IATA Dangerous Goods regulations.
- Scan and process shipments accurately using DHL operational systems.
- Support sorting, loading and unloading activities as needed.
- Operate company vehicles safely in line with DHL Driving and Road Safety policies.
- Assist line‑haul and station operations to ensure continuity.
- Promote DHL’s professional image through customer interactions.
Required profile
- Secondary education.
- Valid category B driving licence.
- Good communication and customer‑service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence.
