Customer Success Engineer – YouTrack

About the role

JetBrains is looking for a Customer Success Engineer to champion YouTrack, its project‑management platform, across the DACH region and globally. You will combine technical expertise with a customer‑focused mindset to help new and existing clients adopt and maximise the value of YouTrack.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and pre‑sales engineering assistance to prospective customers.
• Conduct onboarding sessions for new users and deliver technical training to existing clients.
• Create and adapt sales demos, promotional material, and use‑case specific setups.
• Manage large accounts, proactively working to retain and grow them.
• Serve as the liaison between customers and the product team, conveying feedback and requirements.
• Identify and recruit partners, helping them build capabilities to deploy YouTrack successfully.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of customer‑facing experience in project management, software development, or a related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English; German is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable presenting both in‑person and remotely.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently within a distributed team.
• Proven track record of building B2B relationships.

• Familiarity with developer tools and related technologies.
