Data Solutions Engineer

About the role

AI Digital is looking for a Middle/Senior Data Solutions Engineer who will be responsible for designing, scaling, and maintaining robust automation frameworks and operational data integrations across multiple platforms. This role will focus on driving efficiency, reliability, and scalability while ensuring high standards of technical documentation and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement complex automation workflows across BigQuery, BI systems, and other tools.
• Build and maintain operational integrations that connect tools such as ClicData, Slack, Google Sheets, and marketing platforms.
• Lead major incident investigations, conduct root‑cause analyses, and implement preventive improvements.
• Manage version control, code reviews, and collaborative development via GitHub, and optimise automation pipelines.
• Write clean, modular, and scalable code with automated testing and comprehensive documentation.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience with strong knowledge of SQL and JavaScript.
• Hands‑on experience with BigQuery and Airflow (or similar orchestration tools).
• Strong understanding of data architecture, modeling frameworks, and performance optimisation.
• Proven track record in automation, data‑quality improvements, and building internal tools.
• Experience with APIs and BI platform integrations; advanced GitHub usage.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• AdTech experience or strong interest in marketing‑related domains is preferred.
