Door Attendant / Bellman

About the role

Join the guest services team at a Marriott hotel in Belgrade as a Door Attendant/Bellman. You will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and assisting with their luggage, transportation, and information needs throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to their rooms, opening doors and providing directions.
• Explain room features, amenities, and hotel services such as mini‑bar, in‑room safe, and valet laundry.
• Transport, store, and retrieve guest luggage, and assist with loading/unloading vehicles.
• Arrange transportation (taxi, shuttle, limousine) and communicate parking procedures.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and provide information on hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
• Assist guests with disabilities and ensure a courteous, helpful experience.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb unassisted and up to 75 lb with assistance, and navigate stairs, ramps, and uneven surfaces.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior experience required; entry‑level candidates are welcome.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English.
• Willingness to work full‑time, on‑site, and perform physical duties.
• Commitment to confidentiality and quality service standards.
