HR Business Partner / HR Director (Remote)

About the role

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner / HR Director to lead the people function for its Core Business Unit. The role is fully remote and supports a globally distributed, multicultural team that creates social discovery products.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the business unit’s workforce is aligned with strategic goals and financial targets.
• Manage staffing, onboarding, probation completion, and retention initiatives.
• Drive employee engagement, motivation, and career development.
• Implement and enforce HR policies, processes, and compliance across the unit.
• Monitor and report on manager and employee satisfaction with HR services.

Required profile

• 6+ years of HR Business Partner or HR Director experience in an international digital/IT environment.
• Proven ability to manage the full employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, training, succession planning, performance evaluation, and termination.
• Experience with payroll budgeting, turnover analysis, C&B, and HR analytics, with measurable impact.
• Goal‑oriented, data‑driven mindset with strong project‑management capabilities.
• Resilient under uncertainty, able to multitask and deliver results.
• Fluent in both Russian and English.
