Operations Manager – Jewellery Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead the operational side of a growing jewellery business transitioning to B2C. The role involves overseeing manufacturing, sourcing, and order fulfillment while developing SOPs to scale production without compromising artisanal quality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise bench jewelers, 3D designers, casters, and setters.
• Ensure each piece meets high standards of craftsmanship, durability, and hallmark accuracy.
• Improve workshop efficiency and scale production while preserving quality.
• Oversee ethical and cost‑effective sourcing of precious metals and gemstones.
• Manage relationships with miners, gem cutters, and metal refiners.
• Track high‑value inventory securely to prevent loss or discrepancies.
• Coordinate secure shipping, insurance, and delivery for high‑value client orders.
• Align logistics between physical storefronts, wholesale accounts, and online sales platforms.
• Develop sales standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of operations experience, preferably with high‑value products.
• Technical experience and C2 level English proficiency.
• Autonomous, detail‑oriented leader with a competitive, thick‑skinned mindset.
• Ability to collaborate and support the executive owner’s vision.
• Highly intelligent and not a pushover.
