Project Financial Analyst I

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking a Project Financial Analyst I to join its Clinical Solutions team. The analyst will support global financial reporting, budgeting and performance analysis for assigned project areas, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver financial reporting, controls, and procedures to meet group deadlines.
• Prepare, interpret and analyze financial data, business metrics, and ad‑hoc reports for global management.
• Produce key reports such as annual cost and expense budgets, cost rates, forecasting, monthly utilization, headcount, revenue backlog analysis and gross profit.
• Generate monthly financial reports and commentary, identifying opportunities for improved timeliness, accuracy and efficiency.
• Serve as a primary contact for interpretation and investigation of financial results in the assigned area.
• Provide financial insights on business growth trends and profitability.
• Assist finance leadership with miscellaneous projects as directed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work with large data sets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
