Project Purchasing Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Project Purchasing Intern to support our commercial and project purchasing managers at Bosch’s wiper systems plant. You will gain hands‑on experience in procurement processes, supplier interaction and the use of SAP and internal tools within a global manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the purchasing manager with daily tasks and creation of official RFQs using the Bosch PJM platform.
• Maintain and update Excel tables and related data regularly.
• Perform routine SAP activities such as downloading documentation, checking system data and updating records.
• Participate in part and production release processes and engineering change (ECR) activities.
• Support supplier negotiations, technical discussions and continuous benchmarking.
• Attend and contribute to regular project and team meetings.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or final‑year student in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Sciences, Organizational Sciences or a related field.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work towards targets.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a multicultural team.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VBA is a plus).
• Experience with SAP for procurement‑related tasks.
• Familiarity with creating RFQs in internal platforms.
