Retail Expansion Manager

About the role

wellbe, a fast‑growing consumer health and beauty brand within Empower Brands Group, is building a systematic retail network across the Western Balkans. We are looking for a senior, commercially strong and entrepreneurial professional to lead retail expansion from strategy through execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a retail strategy, establishing partnerships with pharmacies, drugstores, large retail chains, wholesalers and distributors throughout the region.
• Negotiate listings, assortments, pricing, margins, rebates, payment terms and exclusivity agreements with buyers and key‑account partners.
• Own the retail P&L, revenue targets, profitability and sell‑out performance by partner, market and SKU.
• Drive premium placement, planograms, POS displays, promotional activities and joint business plans with partners.
• Monitor sell‑in, sell‑out, inventory, out‑of‑stock, returns, forecasts, receivables and ROI of trade‑marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in retail, key‑account management or business development, preferably in beauty, wellness, consumer health, OTC or supplement sectors.
• Proven track record negotiating with large retail partners and understanding price waterfall, trade marketing, listings, payments and channel profitability.
• Startup mindset with a proactive, business‑building attitude; ability to open new doors and take responsibility for results.
• Fluent in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian and English, with willingness to travel across the region.
