Sales Representative

About the role

Maersk is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to drive growth in Croatia and Serbia. You will join a dynamic, high‑performance team that focuses on delivering end‑to‑end supply‑chain solutions and building long‑term customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and expand the assigned customer portfolio through market mapping, cold calling and face‑to‑face visits.
• Present and quote Maersk’s ocean, logistics and intermodal services to meet volume, gross profit and yield targets.
• Renew contracts and secure additional business from existing accounts.
• Maintain a robust pipeline, conduct regular reviews and ensure hygiene standards.
• Resolve commercial and operational issues, escalating when necessary to protect customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate contracts and align solutions with short‑ and long‑term client goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales within the shipping, logistics or related transport industry.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with decision‑makers at all levels.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets and manage a diverse customer base across two countries.
