Senior Data Engineer - BI & KPIs

About the role

Camlin is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and analytics‑ready models that unite fragmented operational, engineering, and product data. The role supports KPI implementation and executive reporting across the Technology Division, covering SaaS platforms, internal systems, and mechatronics‑based products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and integrate data from multiple business and engineering sources.
• Connect fragmented source systems into a governed data foundation for KPI measurement, reporting, and analytics.
• Implement robust ETL/ELT processes using SQL, Python, Databricks, and related technologies.
• Create and maintain analytics‑ready data models that enable trusted, reusable reporting across the division.
• Partner with performance analysts and business stakeholders to translate metric definitions into scalable technical models while ensuring semantic consistency.
• Build and evolve the division’s data lakehouse platform, designing data structures and transformation layers for self‑service analytics and future advanced use cases.
• Implement data quality controls, validation checks, and governance mechanisms to ensure reliability and consistency of data.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in data engineering, preferably within technology or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of KPI frameworks and the ability to translate business metrics into technical models.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams and delivering data solutions that support executive reporting.
