Senior Frontend Engineer – Intelligence Cloud

About the role

We are looking for a senior frontend engineer to shape the user experience of Azul Intelligence Cloud, a SaaS platform that aggregates JVM runtime data and provides code analysis. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, designers and QA to deliver high‑quality, data‑heavy web features.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new features in React and TypeScript with a focus on maintainability.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of UI components, the Node.js/Fastify BFF layer, and async jobs that feed them.
• Integrate UI with Java‑based backend services and help shape API contracts.
• Build fast, reliable reporting views using virtualization, pagination and backend aggregation.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on frontend development experience.
• Proven track record of delivering production‑grade features with clear separation of concerns.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong debugging, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• React, TypeScript, JavaScript.
• Node.js with Fastify (BFF layer).
• Vite build tooling.
• SQL/NoSQL databases.
• BullMQ for async/queue workflows.
• DuckDB or similar columnar analytics.
• GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Kubernetes and AWS basics.
• AI‑assisted development tools (Claude CLI, Claude Code).
