Senior Full Stack Engineer – Node.js & React (Remote, Serbia)

About the role

We are a remote‑first engineering team building a platform that helps insurance agencies train staff, manage licenses, and integrate with payment, CRM, and learning‑management systems. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer you will own large parts of the product, from data model to UI, and ensure reliable production operation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship end‑to‑end features using Node.js (TypeScript) backend and React front‑end, including data models, APIs, UI, tests, deployment and monitoring.
• Own integrations with third‑party payment, CRM, licensing and LMS providers, handling API upgrades and webhook contracts.
• Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines (AWS, Docker, networking, secrets, alerts, cost optimization).
• Operate the services you ship: monitor, triage incidents, write runbooks, and perform safe data fixes and maintenance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with hands‑on Node.js (TypeScript) and React.
• Proven experience designing and versioning REST APIs and relational data models; PostgreSQL preferred.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with a major cloud provider (AWS preferred), infrastructure‑as‑code, and containerised services.
• Experience owning CI/CD pipelines, Docker deployments, and event‑driven systems (queues, webhooks, retries).
• Comfortable supporting production systems, reading logs/traces, triaging errors, and documenting incidents.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and ability to work independently in a remote, small‑team environment.
