Senior Software Engineer – SaaS Connectors

About the role

Fivetran is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its SaaS Connectors team. You will help build new features for the data pipeline service, improve architecture, and keep the service reliable. This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Novi Sad.

Key responsibilities

• Develop core product features and write high‑quality Java code.
• Build connectors that integrate with various source systems.
• Contribute to feature enhancements, bug fixes, and performance optimisations.
• Design software solutions that meet project requirements.
• Participate in on‑call duty to ensure service reliability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience writing Java applications in production.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Experience with popular cloud platforms and cloud‑based APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs and databases.
• Ability to troubleshoot existing code and optimise performance.
