Software Testing Engineer (Embedded Systems)

About the role

Quectel Wireless Solutions is expanding its R&D centre in Belgrade and seeks a motivated Software Testing Engineer to join the team. You will work on testing and validation of embedded IoT modules, collaborating closely with hardware and software developers.

Key responsibilities

• Independently execute test cases, document results and maintain test case scenarios.
• Debug and analyse hardware and software issues using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and power meters.
• Set up, configure and maintain embedded test environments.
• Report, track and verify bugs using Jira.
• Collaborate with developers and hardware engineers to troubleshoot and verify fixes.
• Participate in design and code reviews.
• Support and verify customer issues.
• Develop and run basic automated test scripts for embedded systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in embedded systems testing or a related field.
• Fluent English communication skills.

• Manual testing of hardware and software.
