SQA Engineer II (Serbia)

About the role

The SQA Engineer II will join IGT's testing team in Serbia, ensuring that software releases meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with development services and clients to design, execute, and document test activities.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and maintain test documentation; execute functional and regression tests.
• Act as the primary contact for development services, working independently.
• Organize, design, and direct test effort activities, including test planning and execution.
• Participate in project and client meetings to align testing objectives.
• Apply testing principles and techniques to evaluate systems during development.
• Record, report, and track defects to provide accurate status updates.
• Recommend continuous improvements for the Central Control System.
• Ensure data integrity by evaluating and recommending software and hardware solutions.
• Consult with management and staff on testing and installation issues, proposing solutions.

Required profile

• College degree in a technical field, preferably computer science.
• 4+ years of experience in a testing environment.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and make decisions.
• Self‑leadership and a drive for results and innovation.
