Storekeeper / Receiver

About the role

We are looking for a Storekeeper / Receiver to join our team at a leading hotel in Belgrade. The role involves receiving, inspecting and organizing merchandise and ensuring smooth stock flow across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise, mark for proper placement and deliver to the appropriate department.
• Stack received items on pallets or carts and complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
• Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors of low inventory in a timely manner.
• Store perishables correctly, rotate stock and inspect deliveries for freshness, quality and accuracy.
• Reject damaged, incorrect or unacceptable items and adhere to food‑safety and handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of refrigerators, freezers, floors and food equipment; remove empty pallets, cardboard and waste.
• Report accidents, injuries or unsafe conditions and follow all company policies and confidentiality requirements.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lb and moving through narrow or elevated spaces.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific licenses needed.
