Vendor Manager

About the role

Optimapharm is seeking a Vendor Manager to lead strategic vendor partnerships that support global clinical trials. You will drive performance, quality, compliance and value across our supplier network while building strong relationships and negotiating effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage external vendors, suppliers, laboratories, technology providers and specialty service partners.
• Conduct vendor assessments, performance reviews and supplier evaluations.
• Optimize vendor performance, costs and operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with international cross‑functional teams on clinical research projects.
• Support proposal development, vendor selection activities and commercial decision‑making.

Required profile

• University degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in vendor management, outsourcing, procurement or supplier management within a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare environment.
• Proven experience managing external vendors, labs or technology providers.
• Strong negotiation, relationship management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Understanding of clinical research processes and outsourced service models (desired).
• Knowledge of GxP and regulatory requirements in clinical development (advantage).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proactive, independent mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
