Accounting & Reporting Senior Specialist

About the role

Join PMI’s Finance team in Nis to support and coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for PMI affiliates. You will ensure timeliness, accuracy and compliance with legal, fiscal and corporate requirements while collaborating with internal GBS functions and external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory financial reports for assigned PMI affiliates on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate standards.
• Support US GAAP closing activities and perform control and review tasks such as journal entry reviews and account reconciliations.
• Coordinate the MEC process with affiliates, IBS and BPO teams, and assist BPO partners in issue resolution and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Liaise with external auditors (PWC) and ensure proper documentation and escalation of overdue items.
• Share expertise with BPO teams to foster independence after the first year of the new service model.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience with strong knowledge of local accounting rules.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience developing or maintaining financial models.
