Client Engineer – Unity Game Development

About the role

Join an independent game team at Nordeus as a Client Engineer. You will shape architectural decisions and collaborate with a multidisciplinary squad to build, optimise, and scale mobile titles that reach millions of players worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, architect and implement gameplay features using Unity and C#.
• Develop client‑side systems, UI, and ensure high‑performance code across Android and iOS devices.
• Collaborate with designers, artists and backend engineers to bring new in‑game content to life.
• Prototype and validate gameplay concepts quickly.
• Share knowledge, provide and receive technical assistance within the team.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in mobile or client‑side development.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical knowledge.
• Proven experience making architectural decisions in production codebases.
• Strong passion for games and understanding of their development process.

Required skills

• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) – optional
