Contract & Budget Associate

About the role

The Contracts & Budgets Associate supports the Site Contract Management team by developing and negotiating study budgets and managing a range of legal agreements for European clinical studies. The role works closely with Clinical Operations to ensure contractual deliverables align with study timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and negotiate global study budgets based on protocol requirements.
• Review, draft and negotiate confidentiality agreements, master confidentiality agreements, clinical study agreements and amendments.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve or escalate contractual issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and contracting standards.
• Provide status updates to study team members on contract negotiations and execution.
• Coordinate execution of agreements and maintain contract files and databases, including archiving.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent contract‑management experience, preferably in clinical research.
• At least 1 year of experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating clinical research agreements (NDAs, Clinical Trial Agreements, etc.).
• Excellent organizational, communication and attention‑to‑detail skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
