Cyber Security Resiliency Technical Analyst

About the role

The Cyber Security Resiliency Technical Analyst joins the Office of the CISO and the Cyber Resiliency Team to help Syneos Health respond to and recover from cyber threats. The role uses data‑driven analysis to identify weaknesses, assess risk, and improve the organization’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of the Cyber Resiliency and Exposure Management program, creating reports and dashboards that track resiliency metrics and exposure trends.
• Evaluate vulnerability, configuration, and operational telemetry to identify gaps, correlate threat data, and prioritize remediation actions.
• Partner with security architects, engineers, and operational teams to define resiliency metrics, validate risks, and drive remediation of identified weaknesses.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, or cyber risk analysis.
• Proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools such as PowerBI.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, able to present complex data to technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Knowledge of security frameworks: NIST CSF, HITRUST, CIS, CCM.
• Understanding of CVSS, EPSS, KEV, and threat prioritization methods.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI) and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
