Data Engineering & Analytics for Demand Forecasting Internship

About the role

Join Bosch's Logistics Planning & Fulfillment team as a Data Engineering & Analytics Intern, supporting the global Mobility Aftermarket business. You will work on building and maintaining data pipelines that enable accurate demand forecasting across European warehouse locations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines for demand forecasting using Azure Data Factory, SQL, and Databricks.
• Analyze, validate, and transform sales, POS, pricing, and inventory datasets to ensure high data quality.
• Perform feature engineering to improve the predictive power of forecasting models.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise ETL/ELT workflows in a cloud environment.
• Assist in evaluating forecasting model performance and contribute to model refinement discussions.
• Create and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for business monitoring and model tracking.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to enhance data availability for demand planning.

Required profile

• Studying Engineering, Information Systems or a related field with a focus on data analytics or cloud technologies.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• First‑hand experience with data analysis, SQL and Python.
• Basic understanding of databases, ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
• Interest in cloud platforms, preferably Azure, Azure Data Factory or Databricks.
• Analytical mindset, curiosity and a proactive, hands‑on attitude.
