DevOps Engineer – Network Automation

About the role

As a DevOps Engineer within the BeCSE Network Engineering team, you will play a key role in modernising and automating our network infrastructure across the region. You will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions, leveraging Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) and CI/CD practices in both on‑premises and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision and manage on‑premises and cloud networking components using IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible, ensuring scalable and secure deployments.
• Build automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines to enable consistent, repeatable and auditable network changes across environments.
• Collaborate with security and platform teams to integrate firewalls, ZTNA and network monitoring solutions.
• Support migration from legacy infrastructure toward software‑defined networking and cloud‑native solutions aligned with a cloud‑first strategy.
• Engage with product and platform teams in Agile delivery cycles to understand requirements and deliver network services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking or equivalent experience.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a DevOps environment.
• Experience with network and security platforms (e.g., Fortinet, Zscaler, Cisco, F5) is a plus.
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Familiarity with cloud networking in Microsoft Azure.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and ability to work in a multicultural, fast‑changing environment.
