EMEA HR Operations Specialist

About the role

Join Synechron’s growing HR Operations team for the EMEA region. You will enhance the employee experience by managing data, supporting inquiries, coordinating payroll, and ensuring compliance across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, delivering accurate and timely responses.
• Maintain employee data in Workday, keeping records up‑to‑date.
• Process status changes such as hires, terminations, leaves, transfers, and compensation adjustments.
• Prepare payroll files, audit results, and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate pre‑employment background checks.
• Conduct engaging onboarding and orientation sessions.
• Manage off‑boarding activities in line with company policies.
• Digitise HR documents, track attendance, and monitor new‑hire processes.
• Generate workforce reports and audit materials on attendance, turnover, headcount and engagement.
• Continuously improve HR processes using automation tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience in a shared‑services environment, preferably across several EMEA countries.
• Proven experience with Workday and case‑management/ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Excellent command of English; additional languages (French, Arabic) are a plus.
• Relevant experience can substitute for a formal college degree.
