Junior HR Administration Associate

About the role

Synechron, a global consulting firm, is hiring a Junior HR Administration Associate for its HR team in Novi Sad on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role suits someone early in their HR career who enjoys administration, working with people and handling several tasks at once. Previous HR experience is not required, but organization, accountability and attention to detail are essential. The position follows a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Support pre-onboarding and onboarding, including employee communication, documentation collection and preparation, and coordinating onboarding for new hires and interns
• Support employee offboarding processes and related administration
• Maintain employee records, HR databases, trackers and archives, keeping HR documentation and employee information accurate and up to date
• Process employment confirmations and various employee certificates
• Assist with absence administration, leave tracking and related reporting
• Support administration of employee benefits and insurance programs
• Support employees with HR administrative processes and contribute to improving HR processes and documentation

Required profile

• University degree or final-year student in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Law, Economics or a related field
• No previous work experience required
• Strong administrative and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
• Professional proficiency in Serbian and good command of English
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Valid work permit for Serbia
