Engineer DevOps - Network Automation

About the role

As a DevOps Engineer in the BeCSE Network Engineering team, you will modernize and automate network infrastructure across Belgium, Greece, Romania, Serbia, and the Czech Republic. You will build scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD practices in both on‑premises and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage on‑premises and Azure networking components with Terraform and Ansible.
• Create automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) for repeatable network changes.
• Integrate firewalls, ZTNA, and monitoring solutions with security and platform teams.
• Support migration to software‑defined networking and cloud‑native solutions.
• Collaborate with product and platform teams in Agile delivery cycles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in a DevOps environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Fluent English and ability to work in a multicultural, fast‑changing setting.

Required skills

• Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
• Python, PowerShell, Bash scripting.
• Microsoft Azure networking (VNet, Application Gateway, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute).
• Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager), Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA), F5 (LTM, GTM), Cisco ACI.
• Version control with Git and Agile collaboration.
