Fleet Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team in Niš. You will be a key point of contact between drivers, repair shops, vendors, and operations, ensuring our trucks run safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the condition and maintenance needs of trucks and trailers.
• Communicate with drivers about mechanical issues, breakdowns, and required repairs.
• Coordinate roadside assistance, towing, tire services, and repair shops across the U.S.
• Schedule and track preventive maintenance and regular vehicle services.
• Contact vendors and repair facilities for estimates, availability, and service updates.
• Follow repairs from diagnosis through completion and ensure accurate maintenance records.
• Provide drivers and internal teams with timely updates on vehicle status and estimated repair times.
• Identify urgent maintenance situations, prioritize them, and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with Safety, Operations, Dispatch, and other departments.

Required profile

• Good command of English (minimum B1/B2 level).
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Organized and able to stay focused in a dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail and a responsible work approach.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and mechanical terminology.
• Previous experience in trucking or fleet maintenance is preferred.
