Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join PTBOX’s security platform team. You will design and build robust backend services in Kotlin and modern front‑ends using React and TypeScript, delivering high‑performance, secure solutions for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend services with Kotlin (Spring Boot or Ktor) and create modern front‑ends using React + TypeScript.
• Design and implement REST APIs and real‑time communication layers (WebSocket / SSE).
• Containerize applications with Docker and docker‑compose, applying advanced patterns such as Docker‑in‑Docker and sidecar containers.
• Design, tune, and maintain PostgreSQL databases for performance and scalability.
• Enforce security best practices including input validation, rate limiting, and secure resource management.
• Own features from requirements gathering through production deployment.
• Write clear technical documentation and justify architectural decisions.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Kotlin/JVM backend expertise and ability to architect services independently.
• Solid React and TypeScript front‑end skills.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker in production environments.
• Experience designing REST APIs and real‑time communication (WebSocket/SSE).
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL database design and query optimization.
• Security awareness (input validation, rate limiting, resource management).
• Ability to produce technical documentation and explain architectural choices.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently in a fast‑paced setting.
