Golang Developer (Intermediate/Senior)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Golang Developer to join our team in Novi Sad. The role involves building and maintaining high‑performance microservices on AWS, designing APIs, and ensuring reliable event‑driven integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Go‑based microservices deployed on AWS.
• Design RESTful APIs and event‑driven integrations with internal and external systems.
• Own services in production, monitor performance, and resolve incidents.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with product and other engineering teams.
• Contribute to technical decisions regarding scalability and maintainability.

Required profile

• 3+ years of backend development experience, including at least 2 years with Go in production.
• Strong understanding of Go fundamentals such as concurrency, error handling, and package design.
• Experience with REST APIs; knowledge of gRPC/protobuf is a plus.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, SQL, and Go data‑access libraries (pgx, gorm).
• Familiarity with event‑driven systems using AWS SNS/SQS.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines; Terraform is a plus.
• Understanding of OAuth2/JWT authentication mechanisms.
• Experience writing automated unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests and implementing observability.
