iOS Developer – Field Services

About the role

Acumatica is seeking an iOS Developer to join its Field Services team in Serbia. You will build and evolve the iOS application that connects field technicians with the core ERP system, delivering reliable mobile experiences even in low‑connectivity environments.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain complex business logic and user interfaces for the iOS field‑services app using Swift, SwiftUI/ UIKit and modern Apple frameworks.
• Integrate and optimise backend services, working closely with backend engineers to ensure smooth data synchronization and API reliability.
• Refactor and modernise the existing codebase, improving stability, performance and maintainability.
• Establish high standards for testing, debugging, error handling, accessibility and overall app performance.
• Collaborate on AI‑enabled features, evaluating model inference, latency and resource consumption for mobile deployment.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering production‑grade iOS applications in a professional setting.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, state management, networking, offline storage and synchronization strategies.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug both client‑side and server‑side issues.

Required skills

• Swift programming language.
• SwiftUI and/or UIKit.
• Swift Concurrency (async/await) and Combine.
• URLSession, Core Data, and other Apple SDKs.
• RESTful and/or GraphQL API integration.
• Experience with offline‑first design, local persistence and conflict resolution.
• Xcode debugging tools, Instruments for performance profiling.
