Junior Deployment Engineer

About the role

Join Schneider Electric’s Deployment team as a Junior Deployment Engineer. You will work on complex IT projects worldwide, supporting the delivery of mission‑critical systems and collaborating directly with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in project execution, reading and interpreting SoW, RFP and ToC documents.
• Communicate technical details, risks and scope issues with customers and report them to the project manager.
• Support customer IT personnel during Go‑Live and system availability phases.
• Deploy and configure Schneider Electric Advanced Distribution Management Systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in system administration, virtualization, infrastructure or IT architecture.
• Strong communication skills, ability to explain technical issues to non‑technical audiences and willingness to travel internationally.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows enterprise desktop and server operating systems.
• Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy management.
• Virtualization platforms such as Hyper‑V and VMware.
• Networking concepts including subnetting and VLANs.
• Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• PowerShell scripting and use of monitoring tools.
