Junior Project Contract Manager

About the role

Alstom is seeking a Junior Project Contract Manager to join its Belgrade team. In this position you will support contract and claims management across high‑speed rail, metro and signalling projects, working closely with project managers, engineers and sourcing specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Apply the Contract, Claims, and Insurance Management Manual (CCIM) and Alstom governance to all project activities.
• Prepare and regularly update the Contract Summary and develop the Contract Management Strategy Plan (CMSP) with the core project team.
• Monitor project schedules, issue contractual notices on time, and support the creation of project‑specific commercial procedures.
• Prepare and manage documentation for claims and counter‑claims negotiations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify risks, mitigate them and maximise claim opportunities.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Sciences or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience or solid understanding of contract/claim management or project management.
• Ability to read and interpret contractual documents, terms and conditions.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and proactive work style.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
