Lead SAP FICO Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Lead SAP FICO Consultant to drive SAP Finance solutions within S/4HANA transformation projects for a Life Sciences client. The role combines deep functional finance expertise with hands‑on technical implementation to ensure regulatory compliance and business alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, testing and deployment of SAP FI components in S/4HANA projects.
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications and validation documents.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams and compliance experts to meet GxP, 21 CFR Part 11 and SOX standards.
• Integrate SAP FI with CO, MM, SD and external systems, and support related data flows.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions and knowledge‑transfer activities for end users and project teams.
• Provide post‑go‑live support, troubleshoot issues and propose continuous‑improvement measures.
• Mentor junior consultants and promote best‑practice documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP FI (GL, AP, AR) with proven S/4HANA Finance implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting and Life Sciences financial regulations (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, SOX).
• Experience integrating FI with other SAP modules (CO, MM, SD) and external systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to produce functional specs, test scripts and validation records.
