Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Elixir Group is seeking a motivated Logistics Specialist to coordinate internal transport and machine operations at its Prahovo plant in Serbia. The role ensures smooth flow of materials, optimal use of equipment and timely reporting of any issues.

Key responsibilities

• Organise drivers and forklift operators per shift and issue work orders.
• Allocate machines and vehicles to positions according to internal logistics needs and other plant requirements.
• Monitor task completion, intervene when corrective actions are needed, and report technical faults immediately.
• Supervise third‑party providers involved in internal transport.
• Prepare shift reports detailing driver, machine, location, operation time and quantities handled.
• Conduct periodic inspections of loaders, bulldozers, forklifts, trucks and tractors, and participate in maintenance within your qualification scope.

Required profile

• Higher education – vocational level VI or VII (Transport, Mechanical or related technical field).
• 1–2 years of experience in operational logistics, internal transport management or shift leadership in an industrial setting.
• Basic knowledge of technical characteristics and maintenance of logistics equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365; experience with SAP is a plus.
