Maintenance Engineer

About the role

British American Tobacco Serbia is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support production lines in Vranje. The role focuses on creating and managing maintenance notifications, repairing sub‑assemblies, and ensuring equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Support line structures by creating maintenance notifications, defining maintenance types, and repairing sub‑assemblies.
• Create, track, and close maintenance orders, monitor maintenance costs and recommend machine improvements.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production problems and machine defects, independently or within a team.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis for breakdowns, process failures, and product‑quality issues.
• Assist with approval processes for maintenance materials that contact the product.

Required profile

• Faculty degree or higher vocational education in a technical field with a mechanical orientation.
• Experience in a similar production‑maintenance role is an advantage.
• Knowledge of English.
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• Experience maintaining technical documentation.
• Strong problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
