Maintenance Specialist – Trucking Industry

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Specialist to join our international trucking company in Niš. You will be responsible for ensuring the fleet of trucks and trailers remains operational and downtime is minimized.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage maintenance needs for trucks and trailers.
• Communicate with drivers about vehicle issues and repairs.
• Coordinate with repair shops, vendors, and towing services.
• Schedule maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Track ongoing repairs and vehicle downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Follow up on service requests to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist in preventing unnecessary downtime and keep the fleet operational.

Required profile

• Previous experience in trucking, fleet maintenance, logistics, or a similar role (preferred).
• Good knowledge of English.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Problem‑solving mindset.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment.
