Manager / Associate Director, Strategic Process Improvement & Programs

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking a senior leader to drive strategic process improvement and program delivery across the organization. The role will partner with business leaders to identify gaps, design future‑state workflows, and ensure successful implementation of transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current‑state processes, identify inefficiencies and root causes, and develop future‑state operating models.
• Create and maintain standardized improvement frameworks, tools, templates, and best practices.
• Define and manage integrated program plans, including scope, milestones, resources, budgets and success metrics.
• Establish governance structures, facilitate cross‑functional workstreams, and provide concise program reporting to sponsors.
• Collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders on solution design, communication, training and change adoption.
• Validate business cases, track performance measures, KPIs and benefits realization.
• Partner with technology, operations and business teams to assess AI, automation and workflow enablement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, life sciences, IT, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional programs or projects focused on process improvement or enterprise transformation.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated application of process‑improvement methods.
• Program management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
• Strong analytical, facilitation and executive communication skills.
