Research Nursing Project Coordinator

About the role

Syneos Health's Illingworth Research Group provides patient-focused clinical services to the pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotechnology and medical device industries, including mobile research nursing, patient concierge, medical photography and clinical research services. It is a global organization operating in over 45 countries. The Research Nursing Project Coordinator supports research nurses and project managers in Serbia, working in a hybrid setting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain research nursing project electronic files in line with GCP and SOP compliance.
• Help obtain and maintain nurse approvals and study-specific documentation such as site approvals, training logs, CVs, GCP certificates and others.
• Assist project managers with ordering and purchasing equipment and supplies for assigned research nursing projects.
• Organize shipment of equipment and supplies to and from nurses, and track all equipment.
• Arrange logistics for study visits, including dates and times, couriers, travel and accommodation, and maintain study-related trackers.
• Carry out quality control checks on off-site visit worksheets and paperwork, liaise with nurses to fix errors and arrange return to trial sites.
• Maintain communication between Illingworth, research nurses, clients, trial sites and vendors, and draft or record meeting minutes.
• Support research nurses in resolving day-to-day issues and escalate or report them to the allocated research nurse project managers, including reporting out-of-scope work for possible change orders.

Required profile

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work to tight timelines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Equivalent experience, skills and/or education will be considered.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint as a minimum.
