Manager / Associate Director, Strategic Process Improvement & Programs

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking a senior leader to drive strategic process improvement and program delivery across the organization. The role will partner with business leaders to identify gaps, design future‑state workflows, and ensure successful implementation of transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current‑state processes, identify inefficiencies and root causes, and develop future‑state operating models.
• Create and maintain standardized improvement frameworks, tools, templates, and best practices.
• Develop integrated program and project plans, define scope, milestones, resources, budgets and success measures.
• Establish governance structures, manage risks, issues, dependencies and provide concise program reporting to sponsors.
• Facilitate cross‑functional workstreams, coordinate decisions, and ensure timely delivery of actions and deliverables.
• Partner with technology and operations teams to assess AI, automation and workflow enablement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, life sciences, IT, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional programs or projects in a corporate environment.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated application of process improvement methods.
• Program management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
