Medical Director / Senior Medical Director – Neurology or Psychiatry

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Medical Director or Senior Medical Director with a background in Neurology or Psychiatry to join our team across selected EMEA locations. The role involves providing medical expertise, overseeing clinical research projects, and ensuring high‑quality medical monitoring and pharmacovigilance support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver all medical support required for project delivery, adhering to sponsor agreements and timelines.
• Participate in study planning, feasibility assessments, and solution consulting.
• Provide therapeutic‑area training to study teams and contribute to the development of protocols, monitoring plans, safety documents, and informed consent forms.
• Execute medical monitoring activities in line with Medical Monitoring Plans and act as Global or Regional Lead Physician as assigned.
• Contribute medical input to pharmacovigilance workflows, including review of serious adverse events.
• Support business development by offering medical expertise to clients and assisting with protocol and drug development consultancy.

Required profile

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical practice as a qualified Neurologist or Psychiatrist.
• Proven experience as a medical monitor, preferably within a CRO environment.
• Strong knowledge of drug development processes, clinical study design, and safety monitoring.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and managing medical teams.
