Medical Director / Senior Medical Director – Neurology or Psychiatry

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Medical Director or Senior Medical Director to join our remote EMEA team. The ideal candidate is a certified Neurologist or Psychiatrist with a strong background in medical monitoring, preferably from another CRO, and will help drive medical excellence across our clinical research projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver independent medical support and pharmacovigilance activities for contracted projects.
• Participate in study planning, feasibility assessments, and investigator meetings.
• Provide therapeutic‑area training to study teams and review clinical documents such as protocols, monitoring plans, safety plans, and informed consent forms.
• Execute medical monitoring according to defined plans and act as Global or Regional Lead Physician as required.
• Contribute medical expertise to pharmacovigilance workflows, including review of serious adverse events.
• Support business development by offering medical consultancy to clients and participating in strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 + years of clinical practice as a qualified Psychiatrist or Neurologist.
• Proven experience as a medical monitor, preferably within a CRO environment.
• Solid understanding of drug development, clinical study design, and pharmaceutical medicine.
