Metal Processing Machine Operator

About the role

PALFINGER is looking for several skilled operators to work on metal‑processing machines at its Niš plant. You will be responsible for turning raw metal into precise structural components while ensuring high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical processing of structural metal components using various methods and techniques.
• Operate, adjust, modify and maintain general‑purpose and special‑purpose machines and tools.
• Sharpen, set up, centre and work with all instruments used in milling and turning operations.
• Supervise and control measuring instruments to guarantee required accuracy.
• Prepare and use work and measuring tools according to their purpose.
• Interpret and follow technical‑technological documentation.
• Remove deformations after processing and keep the workstation clean and orderly.
• Operate crane and console lifts safely.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect employer assets.
• Apply occupational safety, personal protective equipment and environmental protection measures.
• Carry out additional tasks delegated by supervisors.

Required profile

• Secondary technical education.
• Experience in similar metal‑processing or machining roles.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
