About the role

We are looking for a proactive Fleet Manager to oversee the maintenance, operation and cost control of our vehicle and construction machinery fleet. The role involves coordinating drivers and operators, ensuring compliance with transport regulations and optimizing fleet performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a fleet of trucks and construction machines.
• Schedule technical inspections, servicing and major repairs.
• Verify the condition of vehicles and machinery after repairs.
• Monitor fuel consumption and track repair and maintenance expenses.
• Organise drivers’ and operators’ work according to daily, weekly and monthly operational plans.
• Maintain optimal staffing levels for drivers and machine operators.
• Keep accurate records and ensure their safekeeping.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education (IV level) in traffic, mechanical or technical fields.
• Preferably prior experience in similar fleet or transport roles.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of transport legislation and regulations (e.g., ZOBS).
• Valid B‑category driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
