About the role
Shape the future of QSHE at Omya. As a QSHE Supervisor you will support sites in delivering safe, compliant and high‑quality operations while driving improvements that protect people, processes and the environment. You will also contribute to country‑level QSHE activities and the maintenance of Omya’s quality and sustainability systems.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Quality Management System program, continuous improvement initiatives and product quality projects across plants and quarries.
- Ensure all facilities maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 14021 and GMP+ FSA certifications and coordinate additional standard implementations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, lead auditor training programmes and act as the local Quality representative for group certification projects.
- Supervise professional staff, prioritize tasks, and ensure regulatory compliance and safety activities are performed safely.
- Identify and supervise continuous environmental improvement programmes and integrate sustainability issues into policies and operations.
- Prepare investment proposals based on QSHE audit findings and support sustainability investment projects.
- Manage customer complaint handling, document management systems and supplier audit programmes to meet market quality requirements.
Required profile
- University degree in Science, Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in auditing, industrial compliance, quality systems and continuous improvement, preferably in mining, chemical or related industries.
- Progressive experience managing quality, safety, health and environmental programmes at a country or multi‑site level.
Required skills
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 14021, GMP+ FSA certification knowledge.
- Internal auditing and auditor training expertise.
- Risk assessment, root‑cause analysis and job safety analysis.
- Document management and customer complaint management systems.
