Sales Executive – Logistics Hub, Serbia

About the role

An Italian shipping and logistics group is opening a new hub in Serbia to connect local businesses to global trade routes, offering standard and highly specialised logistics services. As Sales Executive you will be the commercial pioneer and face of this launch, reporting directly to the Italian headquarters. This is a highly autonomous, field-based role for someone who enjoys building a client portfolio from scratch, within a startup phase that will become a fully operational branch over the coming years.

Key responsibilities

• Map the Serbian market and proactively hunt for new B2B clients.
• Own the full sales process, from the first cold call to closing the deal.
• Promote tailored logistics solutions across all transport modes.
• Work with the headquarters pricing and operations desks to deliver winning proposals.
• Keep the pipeline and market trends up to date in the CRM.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of B2B sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics, ideally with an existing local network.
• Solid commercial drive and comfort managing the whole sales cycle independently.
• Knowledge of ocean, road, rail and air transport; niche expertise such as bulk liquids is a plus.
• Native or fluent Serbian and professional English; Italian is a bonus.
• Familiarity with CRMs/ERPs and a valid driver's licence.
