Security Governance Specialist

About the role

The Security Governance Specialist will oversee Telesign’s security posture, maintain the ISMS & PIMS, and ensure alignment with ISO/IEC 27001:2022, ISO 27701:2025, SOC 2 and HIPAA. The role reports to the Proximus Global CISO and acts as the primary contact for customer security audits.

Key responsibilities

• Support maintenance of the ISMS/PIMS in compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO 27701:2025.
• Assist Telesign in achieving and maintaining SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance.
• Contribute to the security roadmap and integrate security controls into services and infrastructure.
• Lead information classification, data protection, risk assessment, and role‑based permission standardisation.
• Respond to customer security questionnaires and support sales engineering.
• Improve staff security awareness through training and communication.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an enterprise InfoSec role.
• Experience implementing, supporting, or auditing ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO 27701:2025.
• Experience with SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage a diversified workload.
