Security Manager

About the role

The Security Manager will be responsible for implementing, improving and managing security strategies and standards across the organisation. The primary goal is to ensure risk control, operational consistency and a safe environment for assets, staff and customers, while also leading investigations into losses, robberies and fraudulent activity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security activities in line with G4S Mandatory Security Principles (MSPs) and ensure compliance through audits and follow‑up measures.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled security reviews, threat risk assessments and physical asset audits, covering alarms, access control, CCTV, police liaison and perimeter control.
• Manage investigations related to fraud, robbery response, employee theft and embezzlement, handling confidential cases and coordinating disciplinary or legal actions.
• Provide guidance to security auditors, branch managers and security officers, promote best practice sharing and allocate resources to meet operational demands.

Required profile

• University degree in Security Management, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of security management experience and 10+ years in cash services, banking, audit, investigation or law‑enforcement environments.
• Proven experience implementing risk‑mitigation measures and conducting related audits.
• Strong knowledge of criminal/civil law, security management and investigative administration.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) and willingness to travel within Serbia.
